Ting-ting Wong has been working with ConcertOPERA, Philadelphia for three seasons. She is currently the principal coach at Center City Opera Theater, accompanist at Temple University Women Chorus and Philadelphia University Singers.
Recent collaboration's include Opera Theater Pittsburgh- Carmen, Candide; Center City Opera Theater- La traviata, Slaying the Dragon, Il postino; Delaware Valley Opera Company- Madame Butterfly, Hansel and Gretel; Poor Richard's Opera- A Midsummer Night Dream, Falstaff, Amahl and the Night Visitors, Gallantry and Wandering Scholar, "An opera a day- Trouble in Tahiti, Impresario, Telephone”; ConcertOPERA, Philadelphia- Carmen, Un Ballo in Maschera; Boheme Opera New Jersey- Hansel and Gretel, The Magic Flute. As an accompanist, Ting-ting is very active accompanying recitals and chamber music recitals with a variety of musicians.
Born and raised in Hong Kong, Ting-ting holds two master degrees: one in piano performance from Carnegie Mellon University and the other in piano accompanying in opera coaching from Temple University under the teaching of John Douglas. She has studied with Dr. Abramovic, Lambert Orkis and Dr. Joyce Lindorff.
Ting-ting has been invited to be the studio pianist at Castleton Music Festival, Virginia this summer. She will then return to Philadelphia to be the Music Director for the Poor Richard’s Opera Fringe Festival production in the fall.
